The 8 numbers and notes you should review every week to know if your business is healthy.
What came in this week? Compare to your target. If you are consistently missing, the problem is either pricing, volume, or pipeline quality.
Total value of all open deals. Hot pipeline is deals you expect to close within 30 days. If hot pipeline is less than 2x your monthly revenue target, you need more leads.
What percentage of your team's available hours are booked on paid client work? Below 60% means you are overstaffed or under-selling. Above 85% means you have no room for new work or emergencies.
A simple 1 to 10 gut check. If you do not have a formal survey, just rate it yourself based on feedback, complaints, and the general mood of client conversations this week.
How much cash do you have right now? Divide by your monthly burn to get runway in months. If runway drops below 3 months, treat it as an emergency.
How many pieces did you publish this week? Content builds the pipeline you will need in 3 to 6 months. Track it like revenue.
What did you decide? Write it down. This creates a decision log you can review later to see patterns in your judgment.
What is the single biggest threat to your business this week? Name it clearly. Then write what you are doing about it.
